Abernethy’s as a one-of-a-kind dining experience, a Downtown L.A. destination where tasting cultures and exploring food is an ever-changing culinary experience. Abernethy’s features emerging chefs from throughout L.A., chosen for their culinary talent and entrepreneurship; these chefs reflect the cultural diversity of Los Angeles County’s residents, cuisine, neighborhoods and businesses. Chef Jason Fullilove of Barbara Jean is the second emerging chef, serving modern soul food; a new chef will transform the restaurant every three-four months.
